Bronze Refinishing

Over time, bronze memorials and plaques will develop surface discoloration called “patina”, which can range in color from light greenish to a dark brown color.  This is a result of environmental influences such as sun and rain on the bronze material.  This patina is a natural part of the aging process of bronze.  Bronze memorials are subject to further damage from many other factors including bird droppings, air pollution, and plant overgrowth, to name just a few.  Unfortunately, these damaging effects can make your loved one’s memorial plaque look dilapidated and neglected.

Our skilled craftsmen at Schultz Monument will perform complete bronze restoration and refinishing services either on premise or by removing the plaque and reinstalling it upon completion.  This choice is made depending upon how the plaque is installed and the level of restoration which may be needed.  Our goal is to recover the original beauty and aesthetic quality of each bronze memorial plaque and to help protect it from the damaging effects of the elements in the future.

We would be honored to assist you with any of our services as only a family owned business can.  Please feel free to contact us at 615-712-9521 send us an email below.  We look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
